Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Remotika Africa Technologies Limited (“Jukwaa”, “we”), a company in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for your use of jukwaa.co. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

• You give us accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your workspace.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for yourself or your business.

Who you can email

• Only people who agreed to hear from you: they signed up, bought from you, or gave you their email for this purpose.
• No bought, rented, scraped or shared lists.
• Every email has a working unsubscribe link and your postal address. Jukwaa adds both for you; don't remove them.

What you can't send

• Anything illegal in Tanzania or where your readers live, deceptive, or hateful.
• Phishing, malware, or emails that pretend to come from someone else.
• Get-rich-quick schemes, unlicensed financial or betting offers, adult content, or anything that harms children.

Keeping email working for everyone

All customers share Jukwaa's sending reputation. New accounts start in review and send to small groups first. We pause campaigns automatically when bounces or spam complaints are too high, and we may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms, without notice when needed to protect other customers.

Your content and data

Your newsletters and contact lists are yours. We process your contacts' data only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

Plans and payments

Plans are priced per month by the number of emails you send. Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel; yearly plans are paid once, for 12 months at the price of 10, and we remind you a week before they end. When you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. If a renewal isn't paid, the plan stays for 5 more days, then the workspace moves to the Free plan; nothing in it is deleted. Top ups add emails to the month you buy them in. Unused emails and top ups don't carry over. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change.

Referral programme

Workspaces get a referral link. You earn 25% of the payments a business you referred makes in its first 12 months, payable 30 days after each payment, by mobile money, once you have TSh 20,000 available. Referring yourself or your own other accounts, bidding on our name in ads, or referring businesses that break these terms forfeits the commissions. We may change the rates for future referrals with 30 days' notice.

Liability

We work hard to keep Jukwaa running, but we provide it as is and can't promise that every email reaches every inbox. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months.
